Maintenance Technician – Boulden (Southfields)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s Southfields property in Elkton. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas are clean, safe and fully functional, supporting resident satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders within 24‑48 hours, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, completing repairs and final inspections within five days of move‑out.
• Manage maintenance inventory by tracking usage, returning unused items and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
