Maintenance Technician – Avana Collins Creek

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Avana Collins Creek community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality of work.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and contractors and manage inventory.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift equipment, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
