Maintenance Supervisor – Myrtle Beach

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas of the community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Based in Myrtle Beach, the role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance staff and vendors to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with policies and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance tasks as outlined in company policies.
• Assist the Community Manager with various operational projects as needed.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work orders and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when inspecting work and maintaining inventories.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
