Maintenance Supervisor – Chelsea Museum District

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs following company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager within budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical defects and implement effective repairs.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and internal service teams.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventories, and make‑ready timelines.
• Attention to detail in inspecting completed work and maintaining community standards.
