About the role

The Maintenance Assistant will ensure the building and its grounds remain clean, safe, and professional. You will support daily cleaning, routine maintenance, and urgent repairs while coordinating services for staff and residents. The role also includes providing transportation assistance for residents needing medical or community appointments.

Key responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning routines and assist with routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
Conduct safety checks of smoke and fire alarms and inspect emergency equipment to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
Coordinate maintenance requests from departments, team leaders, staff, and residents, ensuring timely resolution.
Provide urgent repairs to keep the facility operating smoothly.
Offer transportation services for residents to medical appointments, community programs, or other critical outreach activities.
