Loader Operator – Day Shift

About the role

AHF Products is seeking a reliable Loader Operator to join the lumber yard team on the first (day) shift. Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, you will handle logs and lumber pallets, ensuring smooth flow of material throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Load flat‑bed lumber trailers and unload lumber carts.
• Sort and stack logs and lumber packs using a wheel loader or lumber lift.
• Organize the lumber yard, track incoming loads, and maintain a tidy work environment.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by mill management.

Required profile

• Successful completion of background check, employment verification, and drug screening.
• Positive, verifiable work history in wood manufacturing or related fields.
• Ability to lift 20‑50 lb repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management skills, and teamwork orientation.
