Licensed Youth Outpatient Therapist

About the role

Compass Health Network is hiring a licensed Youth Outpatient Therapist to provide individualized behavioral health services to children, adolescents and their families in a supportive, collaborative outpatient setting. The role suits someone who wants to build therapeutic relationships and help youth develop skills to reach their goals, with access to clinical consultation and support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and/or group therapy based on clinical need and licensure
• Assess readiness for services, develop treatment plans and document progress according to agency guidelines
• Use DSM-5 criteria for diagnosis and treatment planning
• Take part in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on integrated care
• Refer clients to appropriate internal and external resources as needed
• Engage in ongoing clinical training and supervision, and take part in staff huddles, team supervision and case consults
• Maintain compliance with agency, state and federal documentation standards
• Work Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays required

Required profile

• Master's degree in counseling, social work or psychology
• Licensed in Missouri as PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT or PMFT
• Working knowledge of DSM-5
• Passion for culturally competent, person-centered care and a multi-disciplinary team

What we offer

• Pay of $36.29-$39.29 per hour
• A retention bonus of $4,000, subject to the bonus policy
• Paid holidays and no weekend shifts
• Licensure supervision and performance incentives up to $20,000 annually
• Training in DBT, EMDR and other modalities, and leadership development
• Option for additional income through PRN roles or supervision stipends
• Schedule flexibility after 6 months, including 4-day work weeks
