About the role
The Atlanta office of a national law firm is seeking a Legal Nurse Consultant to provide critical analysis of medical records and assist attorneys in evaluating case facts. This hybrid role combines nursing expertise with legal support, working on‑site and remotely after an initial onboarding period.
Key responsibilities
- Review and summarize medical records.
- Identify deviations from acceptable standards of care.
- Prepare reports and case summaries.
- Assist in determining liability.
- Locate and evaluate expert witnesses.
- Prepare attorneys for depositions and trials.
Required profile
- Active RN license.
- Minimum 10 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in a law firm or as an independent Legal Nurse Consultant is a plus.
