Leasing Professional – Urban House

About the role

The Leasing Professional for Urban House will lead all leasing activities, from prospecting to move‑in, ensuring high occupancy and resident satisfaction. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, driving revenue and retention for the community.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the on‑site team.
• Detail‑oriented approach to ensure units are move‑in ready.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (OneSite, Yardi).
• Experience using online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
• Knowledge of credit screening and background check processes.
