About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to manage marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for a medical‑center community in Houston. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through proactive leasing and resident‑service initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing tactics such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage prospective residents.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple leasing processes simultaneously.
• Good understanding of local rental market dynamics.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Experience with property‑management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
• Ability to conduct credit screening and background checks.
