About the role
We are seeking an experienced lawyer to support the development of AI legal tools by reviewing and annotating a wide range of legal documents. This remote, hourly‑based position involves providing expert input to ensure high‑quality training data for artificial intelligence systems.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and annotate diverse legal documents and materials for AI training.
- Evaluate and validate legal content for accuracy, consistency, and jurisdictional compliance.
- Identify nuances in legal language, drafting styles, and substantive issues across specialties.
- Collaborate with a team of expert legal professionals to improve data quality.
- Produce clear written explanations, rationales, and clarifications for complex topics.
- Contribute domain‑specific insights to guide AI tool development.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail while handling sensitive information.
Required profile
- Juris Doctor (JD), LLB, or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
- Proven expertise in one or more legal domains such as corporate, IP, litigation, contract, or regulatory law.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for explaining legal concepts.
- Demonstrated track record of high‑quality legal analysis and drafting.
- Strong analytical abilities and impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
