Key Account Manager – Foodservice & OOH

About the role
Mezcla, a fast‑growing plant‑based snack brand, is seeking a strategic Key Account Manager to lead and expand its foodservice and out‑of‑home (OOH) channel. You will own the national and regional foodservice portfolio, driving distribution, visibility, and revenue across a variety of accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Own and grow Mezcla’s foodservice channel across national and regional accounts.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities in corporate pantries, colleges, hospitality, travel, and specialty accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, annual business reviews, and growth initiatives with key partners.
- Partner with distributor networks and broker partners to maximize execution.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless customer support.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to inform channel strategy.
- Represent Mezcla at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- Help build scalable systems, processes, and best practices for long‑term channel growth.
Required profile
- 5+ years of CPG foodservice sales experience.
- Proven track record scaling foodservice for emerging or high‑growth brands.
- Strong understanding of foodservice distribution models, brokers, and operators.
- Existing relationships within foodservice channels and distributor networks (a plus).
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
