Junior Heavy Transport Operator

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Heavy Transport Operator to join our elite team. This full‑time position offers extensive travel (up to 90% of the time) and hands‑on training with world‑class equipment, preparing you for a future as a Self‑Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT) operator.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in assembling, disassembling, loading and unloading heavy‑transport equipment.
• Support operation of modular trailers and transport vehicles on‑site.
• Perform basic rigging, lashing and hydraulic system tasks.
• Read and interpret transport plans, work orders and safety documentation.
• Conduct equipment inspections and safety checks.
• Build trailers and support gear using hand tools.
• Travel with the crew to various heavy‑haul projects worldwide.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic and genuine interest in heavy transport and logistics.
• Willingness to learn through field experience and formal training.
• Mechanical curiosity and problem‑solving mindset.
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment and safety practices.
• Good communication skills and a team‑first attitude.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel extensively.
• Bonus: experience in construction, logistics or mechanical trades.
