Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Cadmus is looking for an entry‑level DevOps Engineer to join its DevOps team supporting a multi‑year CMS contract. Reporting to the DevOps Manager, you will work in a Scrum team that follows Agile SAFe and DevSecOps practices, focusing on building and maintaining AWS‑based cloud infrastructure for applications built with Java, Python, Angular, React and Node.js.

Key responsibilities

• Support smooth CI/CD pipelines for software development.
• Implement and maintain DevOps tools, frameworks and AWS native services.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Terragrunt or CloudFormation.
• Assist with containerization using Docker and, where applicable, orchestration platforms.
• Collaborate on micro‑services architecture, SSO, F5, and serverless components such as SQS, SNS, SES, S3 and DynamoDB.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, software development or related internships.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts, IaC, and Linux/UNIX environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and source‑control tools (GitHub, Jenkins).
• Relevant coursework or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• AWS or other cloud certifications are a strong plus.
