Itinerary Designer

About the role

Join the historic Vanderbilt resort as an Itinerary Designer, where your love for travel and keen eye for detail will craft unforgettable experiences for our guests. You will translate guests' preferences into personalized, seamless journeys that showcase the best of Newport and its surroundings.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with guests to capture their interests, budget, and travel style.
• Research and stay up‑to‑date on local attractions, cultural sites, dining venues, and recreational activities.
• Coordinate transportation, accommodations, activities, and any additional logistics to build complete itineraries.
• Develop and manage travel budgets, presenting options that align with guest expectations.
• Produce detailed, visually appealing itineraries that include reservations, contact information, and essential travel documents.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as a Trip Designer, Concierge, or Guest Services Agent in luxury adventure travel.
• Strong knowledge of local geography, attractions, restaurants, events, and points of interest.
• Excellent service etiquette, protocol awareness, and communication skills.
