About the role
The IT Support Technician provides on‑site technical assistance to end users across multiple locations. The role involves travelling to remote sites, handling a variety of devices, and delivering high‑quality customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Travel to remote locations using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
- Provide on‑call support during weekends and holidays as required.
- Deliver deskside, OSS and FSO support for desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, desk telephony, AV equipment, and communications‑room devices.
- Perform desk cabling, software installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Specify, install and test computer systems and peripherals according to established standards.
- Diagnose and resolve unique, non‑recurring software and operating‑system issues.
Required profile
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in the local language.
- Customer‑focused attitude with a commitment to high satisfaction levels.
- Willingness to travel and be available for on‑call support.
