IT Helpdesk Associate

About the role

The IT Helpdesk Associate will provide frontline technical support for clinical applications in a healthcare IT services organization. Working remotely, the associate will assist healthcare professionals by resolving application issues, handling service requests, and ensuring smooth operation of critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound service desk calls in a 24/7 call‑center environment supporting Epic, Cerner, McKesson and Meditech.
• Troubleshoot workflow problems, application errors, user access issues and system functionality.
• Document interactions and manage incident tickets through resolution or escalation.
• Maintain availability in the phone queue during scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Work from a quiet, private workspace with reliable high‑speed wired internet.
• Travel up to 10% and lift up to 25 lb when required.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of call‑center customer service experience.
• At least 4 years of service‑desk or help‑desk technical support experience.
• At least 1 year of technical troubleshooting experience.
• Strong English communication and typing skills.

Required skills

• Experience with clinical applications: Epic, Cerner, McKesson, Meditech.
• IT helpdesk operations and incident management.
• Ticketing system usage and resolution processes.
