Inventory Specialist – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Golfballs.com, the world leader in golf customization, is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join its Lafayette, LA team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process all inventory activities including receiving, stocking, transferring, counting, and discrepancy reporting.
• Retrieve stock to expedite orders and resolve issues that could cause delays.
• Investigate Block List and Hold List items, working with warehouse staff to resolve them quickly.
• Conduct digital and physical inventory counts to maintain accuracy.
• Identify root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Inspect and process returned merchandise.
• Handle receiving transactions and post them accurately.
• Coordinate outgoing freight shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Update databases with product movement across multiple warehouses.
• Safely unload incoming shipments, verify completeness, and operate warehouse equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of inventory or warehouse experience.
• Intermediate computer proficiency.
• Physical ability to lift 10‑50 lb items, team‑lift over 100 lb, stand for long periods, and climb ladders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
