About the role
FNF Construction, Inc. is looking for a Highway Construction Laborer to join its team in Las Cruces, NM. The role involves supporting journeymen trades on highway projects, ensuring safety and efficiency on active roadways.
Key responsibilities
- Lift and transport materials weighing up to 60 lb.
- Navigate uneven terrain and climb ladders or scaffolding as required.
- Operate hand tools, power tools and jack‑hammer equipment safely.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Work around live traffic and heavy equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Travel to various job sites and work flexible day or night shifts.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year experience in highway or civil construction.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy loads.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Commitment to safety when working near live traffic and machinery.
Required skills
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Proficiency with power tools.
- Experience operating a jack hammer or jumping jack.
