Head of Finance

About the role

Hivemind is seeking a detail‑oriented Head of Finance to own and evolve the end‑to‑end finance function across the management company, funds, and affiliated entities. You will build scalable financial systems, drive operational rigor, and translate complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning, and long‑range financial strategy.
• Own the FP&A function, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, scenario planning, and management reporting.
• Develop financial models to support investment activity, operational planning, fundraising, and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare clear financial reporting for the executive team, highlighting performance versus budget, cash runway, KPIs, and risk outlook.
• Support fundraising and capital formation by creating financial materials, forecasts, and investor‑facing analyses.
• Design and implement scalable finance processes, controls, and operating procedures across the organization.
• Oversee accounting operations for the management company, funds, and affiliated entities, managing month‑end close, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting.
• Mentor and develop corporate and fund accounting teams, setting standards for accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
• Manage treasury and liquidity across fiat and digital asset environments, coordinating capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in corporate and fund environments.
• Strong background in FP&A, strategic finance, accounting oversight, treasury, and taxation.
• Ability to translate detailed financial data into clear, decision‑useful insights.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑development skills.
