Groundskeeper/Porter – Community Maintenance

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will ensure the community’s outdoor areas and common spaces are clean, well‑maintained, and visually appealing. This full‑time, onsite position supports the service team in preserving the curb appeal of The Grand at Westside.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash and items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and transport waste to designated dumpsters or storage areas.
• Maintain storage areas, ensuring they remain organized and free of hazards.
• Perform minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assist with make‑ready specifications, supporting turnover and preparation of units.

Required profile

• Reliable, able to work independently and follow a set schedule.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks and lift moderate loads.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Required skills

• Operation of groundskeeping equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, leaf blowers).
