Full-Time Teller – Abington, MA

About the role

Santander is seeking a friendly and detail‑oriented Full‑Time Teller to join its Abington branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with everyday banking transactions while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking needs.
• Handle cash accurately, maintain cash‑drawer balances, and follow all compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify and refer customers to appropriate bank products, cross‑selling to deepen relationships.
• Use digital tools to educate customers on self‑service options and resolve routine inquiries.
• Support custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and may assist nearby branches when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow policies.
• Flexible to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
