Floating Leasing Professional

About the role

The Floating Leasing Professional is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention at a residential community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction and securing lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Process leasing applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages, and coordinate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before occupancy to confirm they are move‑in ready and schedule any necessary repairs.
• Maintain resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and manage lease renewal activities.
• Collaborate with marketing and community teams to implement leasing and renewal strategies.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to application processing, documentation, and apartment inspections.
• Ability to meet occupancy and revenue targets set by the community.
