About the role
Worlds Of Fun is seeking skilled electricians to maintain and repair the park’s electrical systems, including lighting, rides, and facility equipment. The role involves working from blueprints and verbal instructions to ensure safe and reliable operation of all electrical components.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical components of rides, lighting, and other park equipment.
- Perform general electrical work such as changing transformers, running conduit, and pulling wire using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installations.
Required profile
- Associate degree in electrical technology or related field.
- 3‑5 years of relevant experience and ability to work at heights on ladders, lifts, and platforms.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code and ability to work with voltages up to 13,000 V.
Required skills
- Reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Conduit installation and transformer maintenance.
- Welding and soldering for equipment repairs.
- Use of electrical testing and measurement equipment.
