Extruder Operator – 3rd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a 3rd‑shift Extruder Operator to join Parker Hannifin’s Parflex Division in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves operating extrusion equipment to produce tubing that meets strict quality and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate extruders, load raw material and input machine settings according to instructions.
• Configure and monitor SPC programs, track tube parameters, and follow drawings, standard work and work instructions.
• Identify material via barcode system, use measuring devices, create labels and complete production reports.
• Maintain quality standards, accurate records, and a clean 5S‑compliant work area.
• Report production issues, troubleshoot independently, and perform tasks of equal or lower classification.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (international diplomas accepted with translation).
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read work orders, interpret manufacturing specifications and perform shop math.
• Ability to use and interpret measuring instruments (calipers, stopwatch, gauges, calculator).
• Basic understanding of lean fundamentals preferred.
