Equity Capital Markets Analyst

About the role

Lazard’s Equity Capital Markets team is seeking an Analyst to support the execution of equity‑focused transactions such as IPOs, follow‑ons, PIPEs and other capital‑raising alternatives. The role offers exposure to senior bankers and a variety of industries while working in a collaborative, flat‑structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain comprehensive financial models for client companies.
• Conduct detailed financial and valuation analyses.
• Perform company and industry research to support transaction ideas.
• Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and deal documentation.
• Interact with senior bankers and clients, contributing insights and challenging assumptions.

Required profile

• At least one year of full‑time experience in investment banking, corporate finance, investment, or management consulting.
• Strong analytical abilities and high attention to detail.
• Proven academic excellence and intellectual curiosity.
• High responsiveness, strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
