Ecommerce Team Trainer (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Ecommerce Team Trainer is responsible for delivering high‑quality training to new members and supporting ongoing development of store teams. Working closely with team leadership, store trainers and other specialists, the role ensures that training programs are completed on schedule and that team members uphold Whole Foods Market’s standards for safety, service and product knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and ensure completion of new‑member training during their first four shifts.
• Coordinate training schedules with Team Leaders and the Store Trainer.
• Track and report the status of New Member Connections, communicating progress regularly.
• Facilitate team‑specific operational training, including learning pathways and program rollouts.
• Provide food safety, sanitation and occupational safety training, acting as a role model.
• Train all team members on customer‑service standards, product differentiation, sales tactics and department placement.
• Model proper care, use and maintenance of equipment and personal protective equipment.
• Complete required trainer certifications and operational learning pathways.
• Maintain accurate training records using Whole Foods Market’s learning systems.

Required profile

• Proven ability to organize and deliver training in a retail environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with leadership, trainers and new hires.
• Role model who upholds a positive image, food safety standards and customer‑obsessed service.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality and adherence to the company dress code.
• Capability to provide timely feedback and coaching to team members.
