About the role
Konica Minolta is seeking a Director of Sales to lead and coach a high‑performing sales team, drive revenue growth, and shape market strategy across an assigned territory. The role combines strategic planning, hands‑on execution, and talent development in a fast‑paced, quota‑driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Account Executives to meet territory sales, pipeline, and activity targets.
- Oversee daily sales activities, ensuring strong prospecting, opportunity management, and accurate CRM data.
- Provide coaching on deal strategy, customer engagement, and competitive positioning.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and contribute to area‑level reporting.
- Recruit, develop, and coach sales talent; conduct performance discussions and field coaching sessions.
- Support reps in advancing key deals, join customer meetings, and strengthen executive alignment.
- Review territory performance, identify productivity opportunities, and execute territory strategies defined by the Area Sales Manager.
Required profile
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience; leadership or team‑lead exposure preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to translate market trends into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated success navigating change and leading teams through uncertainty.
