About the role

Konica Minolta is seeking a Director of Sales to lead and coach a high‑performing sales team. The role focuses on driving revenue, forecasting accurately, and executing a disciplined sales process across an assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead Account Executives to meet territory sales, pipeline, and activity targets.
  • Oversee daily sales activities, ensuring strong prospecting, opportunity management, and CRM accuracy.
  • Provide coaching on deal strategy, customer engagement, and competitive positioning.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor sales talent while fostering an inclusive, accountable culture.
  • Support reps in key deals, attend customer meetings, and align executive relationships.
  • Review territory performance, identify productivity opportunities, and execute area‑level strategies.

Required profile

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, quota‑driven environment.
  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience; leadership or team‑lead exposure preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to translate market trends into actionable strategies.
  • Experience navigating change and leading teams through uncertainty.
