Director, Innovation Experience Design

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a highly creative and visually‑minded Director to lead the experience design for its Foundry innovation hub. In this role you will translate complex innovation themes into immersive, data‑driven visual narratives that engage senior customers, partners, and industry audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global visual storytelling and experience strategy for Foundry, covering executive briefings, customer showcases, Experience Centers, and strategic presentations.
• Own the creative vision and design of immersive experiences, interactive demonstrations, and innovation installations.
• Shape compelling concepts, visual narratives, and experience frameworks focused on emerging technologies, payments, AI, agentic commerce, banking, retail, and the future of commerce.
• Direct the production of high‑quality creative assets across multiple formats, including executive presentations, keynote visuals, data visualizations, and interactive environments.
• Collaborate with business leaders, designers, agencies, and cross‑functional partners to ensure consistency and impact across all touchpoints.

Required profile

• Strong visual eye with excellent creative judgment and a track record of leading design teams or agencies.
• Strategic thinker with executive presence and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Deep understanding of emerging technologies, industry trends, and the payments ecosystem.
• Comfortable shaping creative direction, guiding interactive experiences, and driving cross‑functional initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in thought leadership, writing, and presenting to senior audiences.
