Digital Editor/Videographer

About the role

The Houston Rockets are looking for a creative Digital Editor/Videographer to produce daily digital content that engages fans across social media, streaming platforms, and in‑arena experiences. You will work closely with marketing, production, and social teams to deliver high‑impact video stories that highlight players, games, and community events.

Key responsibilities

• Film, edit, and produce daily team content, player features, highlights, promos, and social‑media reels.
• Cover and document community, corporate, and ticket‑member events throughout the year.
• Maintain video quality standards, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and technical specifications.
• Develop original concepts, storyboards, and pitch ideas that meet budget and deadline requirements.
• Manage and organize the digital video library for easy retrieval and reuse.
• Stay current with NBA storylines, social‑media trends, and pop‑culture references to keep content fresh and relevant.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional video editing and videography experience.
• Strong understanding of basketball/NBA culture and related franchise brands.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent visual storytelling skills for both short‑form and longer‑form content.
