DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Network Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure that supports our trading, quantitative research and risk teams. The role focuses on high‑availability, low‑latency environments and requires strong expertise in AWS and networking.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain AWS environments (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway) across production, staging and development.
• Manage on‑premise infrastructure, including network hardware, Active Directory, Microsoft services, firewalls and security controls.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using CloudFormation, Ansible, Python and Bash scripts.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and integrate observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and CloudWatch.
• Architect and optimise network topology (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, firewall policies) for high availability and disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Implement security best practices, network segmentation, access controls and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with trading, quantitative research and risk teams to ensure infrastructure performance and low latency.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps or network engineering, preferably in trading or capital‑markets environments.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, firewall policies).
• Practical experience scripting in Python and Bash; automation‑first mindset.
• Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure architecture and network security best practices.
• AWS Professional Certification is highly preferred.
