Designer, Brand Expression

About the role

The Division of Marketing & Communications at Texas A&M University seeks a Designer, Brand Expression to translate brand strategy into visual experiences across multiple platforms. Working under direction, you will support university‑wide campaigns, social media, and campus touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Develop graphic design, advertising, and brand activation assets.
• Conceptualize and execute creative work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide expert‑level design consultation and assist senior leaders in strategic marketing programs.
• Create enablement tools such as templates, visual guardrails, and channel guidance for local communicators.
• Maintain and update the university brand management platform.
• Produce social‑media graphics, ensuring compatibility across channels and devices.
• Design motion graphics, text animations, and video assets for events and brand advertising.
• Coordinate projects, offering art direction, brand oversight, and quality control with vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• At least four years of professional experience in graphic design, print, electronic media, or related marketing fields.
