Data Verification Specialist

About the role

Join CorVel’s Bill Review department as a remote Data Verification Specialist. You will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of medical billing data that enters our system, supporting the overall risk‑management workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Validate incoming data within the Bill Review system and apply customer‑specific rules.
• Communicate regularly with your supervisor about queue status and workload.
• Perform clerical tasks such as mail handling, scanning, data entry, and assisting with phone and email inquiries.
• Provide additional support to the bill review team as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a professional office environment is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal direction.
• Strong problem‑identification and resolution skills.
• Excellent time‑management, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
