Construction Superintendent

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead the on‑time, on‑budget delivery of new development and construction projects. You will oversee all site activities, coordinate contractors, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Review blueprints and specifications, inspect work, and supervise contractors to meet design and safety requirements.
• Monitor and manage project budgets by reviewing vendor invoices, analyzing financial statements, and reporting resource needs.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, prioritize tasks, and address delays caused by weather or scope changes.
• Supervise on‑site personnel, adjust staffing levels, and resolve issues that impede progress.
• Provide regular progress updates to business leaders, equity partners, and other stakeholders through reports and communications.
• Assist in assembling the on‑site construction team, selecting subcontractors, and managing their performance.

Required profile

• Proven ability to coordinate development and new construction projects.
• Experience reviewing blueprints, specifications, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Strong budgeting skills, including invoice reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Effective communication skills for reporting to senior leaders and partners.
