Construction Assistant Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Assistant Superintendent to support our Field Operations team on a military base in the Jacksonville, Florida area. Working closely with the project Superintendent, you will help oversee daily field activities and ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors and manage on‑site construction activities.
• Monitor project schedules, material procurement, and production tracking.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, contract requirements, and safety standards.
• Assist with quality assurance and field supervision.
• Support the Superintendent in daily operations and reporting.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; additional education in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Lead Foreman or higher on medium to large construction projects.
• 3+ years experience as an Assistant Superintendent on federal, military, or government projects preferred.
• Experience with project scheduling, field supervision, material procurement, QA, and job‑site safety.
• CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, EM‑385, and STS certifications (training can be provided).
• Ability to work on a military base and obtain any required clearances.
