Consignment Manager

About the role

The Consignment Manager will partner with business leaders, sales, finance, marketing, supply chain and suppliers to oversee all consignment accounts for Chemetall/BASF. This role ensures contract compliance, inventory accuracy, and profitability across the consignment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and oversee contract management processes for consignment accounts, coordinating with Legal as needed.
• Collect, measure, and track metrics to assess contract compliance, including product inventory tracking.
• Develop and manage contract renewal and expiration notification processes, evaluating account profitability.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all contract inquiries regarding terms, obligations, compliance, and deliverables.
• Create and maintain contract portfolio metrics and reporting tools.
• Reconcile inventory between customers and SAP, performing an annual inventory audit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Strong business acumen with analytical, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Proven experience gathering, organizing and interpreting detailed data from multiple sources.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment and manage projects independently.
• Excellent collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
