Community Manager – The Bennet/The Dean (Charlottesville, VA)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations for The Bennet and The Dean properties in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role combines property management, resident relations, and financial oversight to ensure a high‑quality living experience and meet performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of assigned properties, supervising staff and coordinating resources.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process deposits, and ensure timely posting of fees.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and reconcile charges to appropriate accounting codes.
• Oversee lease administration, including applicant approvals, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing and marketing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in multifamily property or community management.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and rent collection processes.
• Knowledge of relevant housing laws and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
