About the role
Hyatt Regency Columbus is seeking an intermediate‑level cook to join its culinary team. The role focuses on delivering efficient, high‑quality food service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Hyatt standards and recipes.
- Maintain knowledge of kitchen ingredients and cooking procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate service in a fast‑paced environment.
- Stand for extended periods while performing food preparation tasks.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
Required profile
- Genuine desire to satisfy guest needs in a high‑energy setting.
- Refined oral communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Previous experience as a cook in a hotel or similar establishment is preferred.
- Culinary education or degree is a plus.
