About the role

This summer internship with Tighe & Bond’s Land Use team in Rhinebeck, NY offers hands‑on experience in civil/site planning and design. You will work in a hybrid environment, supporting real projects from concept through construction oversight.

Key responsibilities

Research, compile, and examine structure‑related data for site design projects.
Assist with engineering calculations, proofreading, and preparation of reports and specifications.
Perform light drafting tasks and support small design work using AutoCAD.

Required profile

Currently enrolled in a BS Civil Engineering program with at least two years of coursework completed.
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, problem‑solving attitude, flexibility, and openness.

Required skills

Proficiency with design software, preferably AutoCAD.
Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and data analysis.
