Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Operations Leader

About the role

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as the strategic partner and operational backbone of a fast‑growing consumer products company focused on baby and maternal health. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will build and scale a world‑class operations platform that ensures product quality, reliability, and efficiency while supporting rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end operations including supply and demand planning, inventory management, manufacturing partnerships, sourcing, quality, logistics and fulfillment.
• Design and lead an integrated demand‑supply planning process across direct‑to‑consumer, omni‑channel retail and marketplace channels.
• Establish operational rhythms, KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance, risks and opportunities.
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with manufacturers, co‑packers and key suppliers, driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
• Partner with Product Development and Marketing to ensure products are designed for manufacturability, scalability and exceptional quality.
• Lead operational readiness for new product launches, from pilot runs through full commercialization.

Required profile

• Deep operational expertise with hands‑on experience in manufacturing processes, materials and supply‑chain trade‑offs.
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with product, marketing and engineering teams to align operational decisions with brand and consumer outcomes.
• Strategic thinker who can also execute tactically, balancing long‑term growth with day‑to‑day operational detail.
• Experience in personal care, beauty or skincare product categories is a strong plus.
