About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Business Unit Operations IV leader to drive cross‑functional execution of programs that meet division financial goals. The role partners with product line and division management to align budgets, control operating expenses, and improve cost of goods sold.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product line or division management on cross‑functional execution of programs to exceed financial targets.
• Coordinate portfolio prioritization and budget alignment across the division.
• Ensure OPEX spending aligns with project plans and division targets.
• Create and continuously improve business processes.
• Manage division COGS reduction plans to achieve gross‑margin targets.
• Lead division business continuity planning and crisis management.
• Drive division safety compliance, including lab safety practices.
• Support and complete all ePLC operational deliverables.

Required profile

• Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices.
• Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate complexity.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving skills to devise innovative solutions.
• Impactful contribution to customer, operational, or project objectives.
• Effective communication of complex concepts and negotiation skills.
