About the role
The Center on Gender Justice & Opportunity at Georgetown Law is seeking a Business Operations Manager to oversee daily administrative functions, serve as the primary point of contact, and support budgeting, grant, and communication needs. The role is hybrid, requiring at least one day per week on site.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the Center’s budget and grants using Georgetown’s operating management system.
- Draft and administer contracts and scopes of work for independent contractors and consultants, ensuring milestones are met and payments processed.
- Oversee expense report submission, reimbursement, and donation tracking, cultivating donor relationships.
- Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and off‑boarding of staff in partnership with the Executive Director.
- Supervise student workers and ensure compliance with Center policies.
- Facilitate all‑team meetings and team‑building activities to strengthen staff relationships.
- Create and distribute newsletters and updates via MailChimp or GetResponse.
- Represent the Center at internal meetings and student‑facing events.
