About the role
Jetson is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join its fast‑growing sales team. You will work closely with an Account Executive to drive outbound outreach toward manufacturing and supply‑chain leaders across North America, helping to build a new market category.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with an AE to execute a targeted, account‑based outbound strategy.
- Research and prioritize accounts that match Jetson’s Ideal Customer Profile, focusing on COOs, VPs of Operations, Plant Directors, and Controllers.
- Conduct high‑volume outreach (100+ dials/day) and personalized LinkedIn engagement.
- Craft insight‑driven messaging tied to KPIs such as labor utilization, overtime %, and productivity.
- Qualify leads, handle objections, and schedule meetings that feed the sales pipeline.
- Maintain structured outreach cadences in HubSpot, updating activity and progress daily.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to test messaging and improve conversion rates.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of outbound prospecting experience at a high‑growth B2B SaaS startup.
- Demonstrated competitive mindset and strong phone presence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑starter with high energy, organization, and discipline.
- Experience selling into manufacturing, logistics, or supply‑chain is a strong plus.
Required skills
- HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) proficiency.
