Audit Manager

About the role

GMP Advisors, a full‑service public accounting firm based in Tyler, Texas, is expanding its audit practice. We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to lead client engagements across diverse industries such as oil & gas, construction and government.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise audit engagements for a portfolio of clients.
• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact.
• Lead, coach and develop engagement teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Review workpapers, financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum 5 years of public‑accounting audit experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Strong communication and client‑service skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of US GAAP and audit standards.
• Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Excel.
