About the role

The Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) at Georgetown University Law Center is seeking an Assistant Director to lead the interactive process of providing reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities. This role works closely with students, faculty, and campus partners to ensure an accessible and inclusive academic environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage directly with JD and LL.M. students to determine appropriate accommodations.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Law Center faculty to implement academic adjustments.
  • Collaborate with campus units such as the Registrar, IT, and Facilities Management to remove access barriers.
  • Implement accommodations for pregnant/parenting students and those with temporary medical conditions.
  • Provide resources and support for MPRE and Bar Exam accommodations.
  • Promote Universal Design for Learning across curricular and co‑curricular settings.

Required profile

  • Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities in a higher‑education setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ADA, Section 504, and related university policies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external partners.
