Assistant Community Manager – The Beverly at Shadow Lake

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Beverly at Shadow Lake community. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting, rent collection, invoice processing, and financial reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices and payables, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and obtain Community Manager approval.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, ensuring accurate data entry, system updates, and backups.
• Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Assist with resident move‑out processing, including lease term review, deposit handling, and applicable fees.
• Support eviction procedures by following notice requirements and representing the community in court when needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial transactions accurately.
• Experience with basic accounting, bookkeeping, and bank reconciliation tasks.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.

• Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property‑management software.
