Assistant Community Manager – Palm Beach County

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a residential community in Palm Beach County. This role is essential for ensuring accurate accounting, timely rent collection, and smooth day‑to‑day property management operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices and payables, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Operate Greystar’s property management software (Yardi/OneSite) to record transactions, generate financial reports, and maintain system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate balances, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation when needed.
• Handle resident move‑outs, applying lease terms, deposit deductions, and processing final dispositions.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Basic understanding of property management and real‑estate operations.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures, especially regarding evictions and financial controls.

Required skills
