Agri Farm Technician

About the role

The Agri Farm Technician supports daily farming operations for the Division of Agriculture, ensuring efficient planting, maintenance, and harvest of row crops across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Operate farm machinery for plowing, disking, land planning and planting of rice, soybeans, corn, grain sorghum, wheat and cover crops.
• Run heavy equipment such as track hoe, backhoe and road grader.
• Transport seed using grain trucks and trailers to elevators and foundation seed destinations.
• Perform irrigation, rouging, spraying and harvesting activities as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Experience with day‑to‑day farming tasks and equipment operation.
• Strong attention to safety and equipment maintenance.
