Feed Mill Associate – Bulk Load Out (3rd Shift)

About the role

The Feed Mill Associate works the 3rd shift (Monday‑Friday, 9:00 pm‑5:30 am) loading feed trucks with the correct type and quantity of feed. The position offers day‑one benefits, on‑the‑job training, and a referral bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the bulk load‑out system and weigh feed trucks according to production schedules.
• Coordinate with personnel to maximize efficiency and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Take and record daily inventories, collect feed samples, and provide documentation for invoices and ingredient weight tickets.
• Follow all safety, quality, GMP, FSMA, and regulatory procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work unsupervised, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours.
• Strong work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
• Physical ability to lift 50‑100 lb, climb ladders, work in dusty, hot, loud environments, and operate at heights.

Required skills

• Intermediate math (proportions, percentages, volume calculations).
• Basic computer usage.
• Operation of pallet jack handling 2,000+ lb loads.
• Experience with agricultural or farm equipment (preferred).
